Bangladesh RMG growth flips 23.4 points as US basics lose $250 mn

Bangladesh’s RMG growth swung from a 21.52 per cent rise in June to a 1.92 per cent fall in July, though earnings rose from June.
US imports from Bangladesh fell 8.08 per cent in January-May; EU imports dropped 18.89 per cent, with lower volumes and unit values.
TexPro says losses centred on men’s woven garments and knitted T-shirts, which made up 87.6 per cent of the selected decline.
