India’s textile exports rise, apparel exports decline in June 2026

India’s textile and apparel exports rose a marginal 0.21 per cent YoY to $2.91 billion in June 2026 as higher textile shipments offset weaker apparel exports.
However, exports fell 2.95 per cent during April–June and 2.21 per cent in FY26, while raw cotton imports surged amid continued pressure from weak global demand and higher costs.
