Cambodia’s H1 2026 apparel exports up 5.7%; cotton imports surge

Cambodia’s apparel exports rose 5.7 per cent year on year to $5.55 billion in the first half of 2026, accounting for 32.5 per cent of the country’s total merchandise exports.
Growth was led by non-knitted apparel, while imports of cotton and cotton yarn surged 34.8 per cent, signalling stronger demand for cotton-based garment production.
