Europe powered 67% of Egypt’s apparel export growth

Egypt’s apparel exports rose 15 per cent to $1.775 billion in H1 2026, with Europe delivering about 67 per cent of the net gain.
Europe and the US supplied 82.3 per cent of shipments, exposing exporters to market and product concentration.
TexPro data point to woven demand in Europe, knitted growth in the US, and higher EU compliance pressure from July 19, 2026.
